Brett Koth
Cartoonist Brett Koth, after graduating with a BFA in Character Animation from the California Institute of the Arts, began his career working at studios including Disney and Marvel. In addition to character animation for these compnanies, he also worked on licensing for characters representing Disney, Pizza Hut, National Geographic Kids, and many others. One of his more prominent jobs began in 1986, when he started working with Jim Davis on writing and art for “Garfield,” as well as going on to work on some of the comic’s television adaptations. “Diamond Lil” began in 2008, and he continues to work with Davis while pursuing his own comic strip work.
